+ Who are these courses for?
Anyone longing to reconnect, or nourish a deeper connection with their wildness and intuitive knowing.
Anyone who desires to form a more intimate bond with their Tarot deck.
Anyone who wants to take their practice with the Tarot to the next level.
Anyone who loves and appreciates an authentic, no bullshit style of spiritual teaching.
Anyone who has experienced confusion or fear around diving deeper with the Tarot.
Folx who can hold themselves in times of discomfort and contraction — course topics are powerful, and will absolutely stir things up — and feel centered in their personal responsibility, self tending, and ability to critically think.
+ Who are these courses not for?
Anyone looking for a certificate at the end of a course.
Anyone who wants a “love and light,” no cursing, no rawness approach to the Tarot. If you are looking for that, Lindsay is not your teacher.
Anyone who is not ready to look at themselves deeply. Lindsay is a gentle, very heart centered teacher, but one who will ask you to go deep into your self-inquiry, and your soul work. These offerings are not for the faint of heart. We expect students to be able to hold themselves in this work, and if they need support, to reach for whatever resources that they might need to help them on the journey. If you sign up, prepare to go deep.
Those who are uncomfortable with Tarot being blended with the issues that are facing our planet. Climate change will be acknowledged. Racism, oppression, and inequity will be acknowledged. If you are in denial around the existence of these things, or do not acknowledge that they are of the highest importance, these courses are not for you.
+ Why are these courses called personal pilgrimages?
A pilgrimage is defined as “a journey made to some sacred place as an act of devotion.” In this case, you are making a journey into yourself as you explore, deepen and enrich your relationship with your Tarot deck and yourself. These personal pilgrimage courses are dedicated to serving as a supportive space for sitting in your own knowing, asking questions of yourself. Lindsay is honored to be your guide on this journey – but the path you take through this material (and how you move along it) is all your own.
+ Which course should I choose if I want to learn how to read Soul Tarot fundamentals and interpretations for every card in the deck?
If you’re brand new to the Tarot (or to Lindsay’s style of teaching), and you’re seeking a sweet and supportive overview of soul-led Tarot reading — the ABCs, Soul Tarot 101 is for you! Learn more about it here.
If you are a beginner with no previous knowledge of the Tarot or a seasoned reader looking to deepen and rewild your relationship with the cards, Rewilding the Tarot is for you. You can read more about it here.
+ Do you offer a community space for the students of your courses to gather, connect, and ask questions?
As of October 2020, we are no longer hosting or moderating community spaces for our courses. We structure our courses as personal pilgrimages, journeys that will be supportive for folx to travel through on their own. If you would like more community connection through your own journey, you are so welcome and empowered to create it for yourself! We will gladly share it with interested course participants, who can join if they feel called to.
+ I am totally brand new to Tarot, and know absolutely nothing. Will these courses be right for me?
Absolutely, though some offerings will be easier to understand with a foundational background in the Tarot and some of the concepts Lindsay covers. If you’re brand new to the Tarot (or to Lindsay’s style of teaching), and you’re seeking a sweet and supportive overview of soul-led Tarot reading — the ABCs, Soul Tarot 101 would be right for you.
If you’re seeking an immersive, yet digestible education in Soul Tarot fundamentals, with interpretations for every card in the deck, Rewilding the Tarot is an excellent option, and is the perfect course for someone new to Tarot. Beyond that, the structure of most courses material places the focus on Tarot Anchoring, which anyone can do, regardless of skill level or Tarot experience.
+ I have been practicing Tarot for years. Will these courses offer me anything new?
We believe they will. Lindsay is very proud to be a teacher who serves other readers and teachers. She teaches Tarot in a way that is very unique. It is Tarot for the soul, and many of the interpretations and treatments of the cards that she teaches are different from anyone else. You will most certainly gain new information and skills from these courses, even if you are a seasoned professional.
+ Is there a course that provides support for a specific interest or need I have?
If you are looking for additional resources on what course to choose, click here.
+ How can I purchase past courses and classes?
All courses are listed here and can be purchased while enrollment for the offering is open.
Please note that some courses are closed containers, and as such, are not available for purchase when enrollment is closed. This is done to respect the integrity of the course material and the students present in those containers. Many of these courses may open for enrollment again, perhaps in another form in the future. We invite you to join us if you’re able and feel called to do so! Lindsay always announces enrollment in as many places as possible, including her Instagram, the podcast and the newsletter. We would suggest following along in at least one of those places to know when enrollment opens for future courses.
+ Will I have access to the class materials after the courses end?
Yes! All course materials are yours to keep forever and for your personal use.
+ Are these courses as effective as learning live, or in person?
Here’s what: only you can really know the answer to this question. If you know that you are someone who does not learn well in an online/virtual space, then it may not be effective for you.
However, we absolutely believe that the course is as effective as learning live, if not more so. The online nature of the course is absolutely incredible for effective learning. With pre-recorded videos and audio, you get to flow and learn at your pace. They provide the ability to study and absorb the information at a pace that feels aligned for you.
+ What if I can't complete a course in the suggested timeline, or I am going away while you are teaching some of it?
Not a problem! All courses are yours to keep forever, and you are welcome to engage with the materials anytime you like.
+ Are there any live elements with Lindsay's courses, like Zoom calls?
Courses are totally self paced, and contain no live elements. Starting in 2022, we have shifted to a self-paced model with all of our courses, which means no more live calls or Q&A Roundups. Courses are still just as rich and robust as ever, but because they no longer contains any live elements, you may have noticed that the investment point organically dropped as a result of that!
+ Is closed captioning and transcription available for the courses or podcast?
Yes! There is closed captioning for every video and transcription for every piece of audio for all courses and workshops. Please reach out to our Wild Soul Team at info@tarotforthewildsoul.com if you have questions about the accessibility of our course materials.
All podcast episodes moving forward are transcribed, and there is a dedicated project in progress to transcribe the archive of past episodes.
+ Can I engage with the course materials offline?
Yes! All class materials are downloadable. Once you download the content, it is totally watchable offline. Please just remember that coursework is for your personal use only.
The worksheets are downloadable PDF files, and it is possible to print out the worksheets.
+ Is the syllabus listed on the course description guaranteed to stay the same?
Due to the channeled nature of this work and of Lindsay’s creative process, all syllabus items are subject to change without notice, even while a course is running. Generally, a course syllabus will adhere to the skeletal structure of what has been advertised, but it does sometimes ebb and flow. Our team is always committed to providing exceptional course material, and we appreciate your understanding that openness to change is a part of what we're learning together as a whole. This flexibility in the material ensures we're able to offer teachings from Lindsay and service to you in highest and best.
+ Why are some courses only offered once a year, or less frequently than others?
The greater the magnitude of material and support needed for a course, the greater the energetic undertaking for Lindsay and our team. We seek to create as seamless of an experience as possible for students, and honor our own capacities for creation and support. It’s an enormous privilege to share this work, but we also want to leave space for other offerings.
+ I'm looking to learn deep history and origins on the Tarot. Will that be covered here?
No. We absolutely cover card theory in all of its forms in Rewilding the Tarot and specific aspects of Soul Tarot concepts in subsequent courses, but courses will not go into the history and origins of the Tarot. If Tarot history is of interest, we would suggest doing some additional exploration on your own, and you can also find additional resources for Tarot and its history here.
+ What Tarot books does Lindsay recommend?
+ Are there any Tarot books out there that are similar to Lindsay’s style of teaching?
No, there aren’t. Lindsay is it! If you like the style she teaches in, we recommend checking out the podcast and her courses!
+ Does Lindsay have a Tarot book of her own? Does she plan to write one someday?
Not yet! She definitely plans to write many, but is joyfully focused on courses and online learning at this stage of her career.
+ Will I be memorized when I'm finished with these courses?
If you take the time to drill into your cards, memorize them, practice with others and keep up with your work, then absolutely! Memorizing Tarot takes learning, then application. If you apply what you've learned to practice readings, memorization is absolutely possible if you desire it to be! For memorization, Rewilding the Tarot covers interpretations for every card in the deck, and Soul Tarot 101 includes a memorization cheat sheet, while other courses engage with specific cards in greater depth.
+ Will a specific course run again in the future?
Maybe! As a team, we always have a loose framework for what courses might be coming up, but really the offerings tell us whether they want to come back, and when.
+ What if I am using a different deck from the one you are teaching with? Does it matter what deck I use for these courses?
You may use any deck you like for any of the courses! Lindsay teaches a "deckless" way of learning Tarot, which means you can plug the teachings into any deck and have some kind of foundational root system. All decks are welcome.
+ Why don’t you have more, or certain decks represented in courses?
From a legal standpoint, all of our courses are protected by law with a copyright, and we must have express permission from publishers or independent deck makers to use their cards in our course materials. If we don’t have a deck in our course, either the permission process was too great or complicated, which often happens with publishing companies), or we couldn’t secure permission from a deck maker. We are always looking to feature more aligned, independently created decks in our courses! Keep checking back, as we are always adding more.
